Protected: Tulkus (Copy)

$3.00

The tulku institution originated in the 12th century within the Karma Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism, which was then ascendant on the high plateau. The word literally means “transformation body,” often translated as “incarnate lama,” although you sometimes hear the term “living Buddha” (huofo in Chinese).
