If all you want is a free article and you’d rather not provide your physical address, please use the contact page to send your request. There are also a few articles available for instant download.
This site is not directed to children under age 13. If you’re under 13, do not enter any personal information; please ask your parent or guardian to place your orders for you.
What data we collect
This website does not collect any personally identifiable information about you except the information you voluntarily provide by typing it into a form and metadata about your visit (date, time, which pages you visited, the country from which your data request originated). The latter is collected using a cookie. We spend hours gazing at the aggregated data wondering who in Belgium is looking at us and why certain pages are more popular than others. This website won’t look at data stored on your device such as contacts, location, and photos. It does not access your camera or microphone feed. Honestly, that would be gross.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content, for example Pamela Logan’s Twitter feed and YouTube videos. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
As they do anywhere you see these “free” websites embedded into a page on the web, sites like YouTube and Twitter may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. If you’re concerned, take a look at Twitter cookie and privacy disclosure and YouTube privacy disclosure. Drop us a note, too. If enough people are concerned, we’ll get rid of those features.
What we do with your data
If you’re ordering something that’s not free, we will use your physical address to validate your credit card and deliver your order. We might also use it very occasionally to let you know about Logan’s public appearances if there is one scheduled in your local area. If you provide your email address, we’ll use it very infrequently (maybe twice a year) to send you announcements about Logan’s virtual appearances or any groovy new website features such as a blog. If you don’t like the email you receive, you can unsubscribe and you won’t get anything more from us. We don’t want to go anywhere that we’re not welcome.
Who we share your data with
If you place an order using the on-line order form or if you send a message on the contact page, the information you enter will NOT be shared with any third parties except entities (such as publicists) directly representing Pamela Logan, to inform you when she publishes a major new work such as a book. The information you enter here won’t be sold or rented to third parties to send you advertising (spam) unrelated to Pamela Logan and her books, articles, and photos.
How long we retain your data
If you use the contact form, we’ll keep your note and its metadata for an indefinite period of time. Also, if you order a product, we will retain data concerning your order indefinitely. The data is kept on a secure server.
What rights you have over your data
If you used the contact form or placed an order, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
For questions and comments about our privacy policy
Use the contact page to comment on our privacy policy or anything else that’s on your mind. This Privacy Policy might change from time to time. If you’re concerned about that, please use the contact page to request notification.
